What is Flux for Mac

Flux is advanced XHTML and CSS Web design software. You can do Web 2.0, AJAX, and most other buzzword-compliant things. Flux has the following features:

Drag-and-drop design of Web pages, you can do almost anything without touching or even seeing XHTML/CSS--but you can meddle with the code if you want
Apply cool (or cheesy) effects to images from right within Flux
Attach funky javascript actions to your page without having a clue what you're doing
Embed Quicktime Movies, Flash, and other objects
Edit sites directly off FTP and SFTP

Create the whole site within the WYSIWYG editor, type in XHTML, or a bit of both. You can use one of the supplied templates to get you started, or just stare creatively at a blank page.

At the moment, the developer's website is unreachable, no idea why. Keep an eye out in case this has become abandonware.

I dunno. I bought the full licence but gave up pretty fast because the UI is just so confusing, so busy, I am not a programmer but I am not dumb. Still, there was no continuity or clarity.

Although I bought this software as a full version, I switched to Pinegrow.

The user interface is simply too confusing and not very intuitive. I never had the impression that I could ever use the software properly.

Flux Developer: please, update your software description here in MacUpdate - it looks bad for a company that does software for modern, mobile-first websites to be talking about 'XHTML' and 'Quicktime' and 'Flash'. Also: please update your website, so its layout doesn't break on mobile. Again, it makes you look bad.

Name conflict with F.lux app (https://justgetflux.com) when putting into /Applications. Might be worth addressing this because it is frustrating.

Flux 6 outputs fantastic html/css code, you'll almost think it was handwritten. Kudos to the team, they totally built an app that rivals others.

Learning to code HTML/CSS/Bootstrap is far easier and faster than trying to figure out how to use this piece of software properly. I don't see a point of spending $100 to make my workflow more confusing and convoluted. Enough said, and yes, it's that bad.
